Paris Hilton: Can she actually "get away from it"?

     After giving some more thought about the Paris Hilton
incarceration situation(and keeping in mind that it could all change
today), I came to the conclusion though that a lot of people think
that this is another example of a celebrity literally "getting away
with it", has she actually?
     Here's some stars that had vehicular problems with the law:
HALLE BERRY
     Berry was involved in a hit-and-run back in 2000, pleaded no
contest and was fined, put on probation and sentenced to community
service.  Despite the fact that she won an Oscar for MONSTER'S BALL,
her film career after that went downhill with only the X-MEN films her
only hits(and that's because the star of of the films is the star of
the comic books, the man with the claws).
BUSBY BERKLEY
     Probably the earliest example of such, going back to the 1930s.
The director of glitzy MGM musicals was involved in an automobile
accident and charged with second degree murder.  But he was acquitted
due to a "cancerous tire" defense.  He then suffered mental illness
and made numerous suicide attempts until his death in 1976.
REBECCA GAYHEART
     The BEVERLY HILLS 90210 actress killed a 9-year old kid while she
was on a cell phone.  She pleaded no contest to vehicular
manslaughter, was fined, given community service/probation and had her
license taken away for one year.  Nowadays, we haven't seen much of
her other than the fact that she got married to a department store
mannequin who appears on GREY'S ANATOMY.
     While I'm at it, here's some other famous people(in high-profile
court cases) that we all thought "got away with it":
MICHAEL JACKSON
     Jacko was acquitted for child molestation and left the coumtry
afterwards and maybe he should've stayed there. That's because the
MJ's finances have ran out to an extent that he and his family had to
auction off most of their belongings(the smart thing is to open a
museum like Mike's departed former father-in-law).
O.J. SIMPSON
     He was acquitted for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown
Simpson and Ronald Goldman.  Laid low a lot, but cames back every so
often to show us what type of ass he could make out of himself(i.e.
proposed reality show, proposed book) all while the Goldman family is
breathing down his neck to pay them after the civil trial.
      Long post short, if Paris goes back to the Crossbar Hotel, it
may be the best thing for her because(using all these past examples)
she'll find out what a vengeful bitch karma could be if she gets off.
How much Hilton money can she buy herself out of that?

I don't know anything more about this than I can't help but hear, but the thing is she is asking for it, bigtime. DUI is a fatal traffic accident waiting to happen. It's the principle.... why go to that effort? Just drive hammered, mommy will buy you out of any consequences. Even if you run into a phone pole and kill yourself, mommy will be there to buy off the Grim Reaper.
