Kenny's Poverty

I really enjoyed the 'Chicken Pox' episode. It gave an interesting insight into the past of some of the parents. I think we are being led into a greater storyline with Kenny and Kyle's fathers being former childhood friends.

I do have some observations regarding Kenny's other-side-of-the-tracks poverty.

1. They eat frozen waffles but Kenny's brother has braces. Where did the money come from for that? Do they have a life insurance policy on Kenny and get loot each time he croaks?

This reminds me of the ramshackle trailers with satellite dishes outside.

Most Alcoholics spend all their money on beer.. or maybe he makes his own.. that isn't hard to do.. that's how my grandpa made money during the depression.. when it was illegal and stuff..

LOL!! :) *nodsnods* I work at a convenience store (starving college student that I am) and it really pisses me off when people come in driving REALLY nice cars, wearing nice clothes, with 2 or 3 children running amok in the store with dirty faces and hands, then they buy shit loads of candy with FOOD STAMPS!!! ARRRRG!!! How are these people getting food stamps while they drive nice cars? and WHY would they spend the stamps on candy rather than good food for these already-hyper-active-kids-on-sugar-highs? Those were all rhetorical questions by the way.. No need answering them.. just a quick rant.. hehe..

yeeeesh...

it is illegal to accept food stamps for non food items (candy is such an item) you also cant use them to buy hot food or prepared foods. if you accept them in lieu of payment for such goods you are just as guilty as they are.

incedently for the federal food stamp program one car is not considered an asset as it is reconized that a means of transportation is essential in todays socity. so that car could be a porche and it wouldnt matter all that matters is the amout of EARNED income.

come to think of it i have a Unearned income of 1,500.00 a month right now I should go over to the food stamp office and get my $112.00 worth of food stamps right now.

i know most of the tricks to welfare because before i quit in disgust I was an PAS II in florida. Its been awhile and i might be wrong about a few things because i recall them incorectly but im sure things havnt changed much
