Was it 1989 Broncos or 1991 Broncos

There was a flaw in the last scene. First they said 1989 Broncos then they said 1991 Broncos a minute later. Well the 1989 Broncos were AFC champs losing to the 49ers 55 to 10 in super bowl XXIX. I don't think this was intentional.

Depends. Elway and other players from the 89 or 91 team <should be 89 IMO> and still on the team would have both, but those who weren't there at the begining of last season would have to old uniforms. I'd say old ones, just to preserve team unity and give that nostalgic feeling.

If you pay real attention to the refereces, the year of the team swaps every time they are mentioned. It's just a stupid thing they trough in, I wouldn't really think about it anymore than you already have.

Well, how old is Eric supposed to be? It would be the team of the year in which he was concieved (well, supposedly). I *think* he's 8...so it would be the '89 team (conceived in '89 and born in '90). That's assuming, of course, that the show is happening in the present. Or maybe we're just analyzing this way too much....

Well, most likely Cartman's mom did both teams. So you never know. I think it was not a mistake. Maybe it's just there to have people going "uhm, wtf?"
