Next episode 606 - Professor Chaos Airdate: 04-10-2002 Stan, Kyle and Cartman are not pleased with the job Butters is doing as the their replacement friend. Since Kenny died, Butters has taken his place in the group and the boys think he really sucks at it and decide to fire him. Cartman, Stan and Kyle end up having to hold auditions for a new kid to take dear sweet Kenny's place. Butters of course, is devastated over the loss of his new found best buddies and the trauma of it all unleashes his alter ego "Professor Chaos"

So what was being parodied when Stan et al were making comments during the testing for Kenny's replacement? I'm pretty sure Cartman's "Get the fudge out of here!" was from those old MTV spring break bikini contests.

"The Bachelor" -- right down to the roses. Some other shows probably as well...

Was that a movie? I don't recognise it.

Hmm, the music in the background sounded like something from "Friends".

It's a current show in the U.S. One supposedly very eligible bachelor gets to choose which of 25 women he gets to marry.

That part more resembled some other reality TV shows, with people yakking about what happened off-camera, etc.

It was half good. The subplot with Prof. Chaos was hilarious. The auditions for the new friend was lame.

I liked all of it. I think it was my favorite of the season so far, but then I'm a big Butters fan.

Agreed. I've always loved Butters because he is a realistic kid. He has a certain flair that only comes when you aren't trying to be cool, plus he really likes being their friend. Tweak, while a great character in his own right, will most likely spend most of his time worried that he's not a good enough friend. Underpants Gnomes was hilarious, but too much Tweak may get old fast. I'm just soooo damn glad they didn't make Jimmy or Towlie the new best friend. In fact of the 6 finalists, the only one I wasn't dreading was Tweak.

I had predicted the kids would pick Tweek. But I was surprised that they killed off Miss Choksondik and without even an explanation of what happened to her!

He was there in the beginning, before Tweek took his place. He's been on occasionally since then, but this is the first time he's said anything.
