"I want Kenny in the games until he dies playing. Acknowledge!"

LOL... I love it! :-) SP goes down as the only TV show to ever parody the MCP from TRON. That alone made the episode worth watching (the end was kind of abrupt and anticlimactic, though.)

Silly, and I loved it. Good episode tonight. Kenny was hillarious!

On a Tron-related note, Disney is supposedly looking into doing Tron part 2 AND part 3. Haven't heard any one new news on the subject, but it could be cool if they really do it. I loved the original.

That probably comes from the same promotion rumor office that keeps saying that there's gonna be a "Heavy Metal II". A lot of movies would LIKE to say there's a sequel in the works (anyone remember when the end credits for "Buckaroo Banzai" and "The Sword and the Sorcerer" told viewers to look out for their respective sequels?).

Dana Carva a la Bush: Not gonna happen. At....this.....juncture.

Ok, smartass... just checked the page on it. Being produced by Tristar, has a $15 million budget, is still animated, and they're shooting for a Fall 1999 release.

Here's the page for it:

S'bout fucking TIME then if it's true. Been hearing about this repeatedly hyped promise since 19fuckin'81! Maybe THIS time Ivan Reitman will make sure that VIDEO rights are properly defined when it's time to sign on the rock groups du jour. Jeez!

I don't think Reitman has anything to do with the new movie.

Flying monkeys? Are they remaking "The Wizard of Oz" too?

Holy Shit! I remember, "Watch for the continuing adventures of Talon in Tales of the Ancient Empire"

Wow did I just pull that out of my ass. . .

There may very well have been plans for one, but right after the movie, Lee Horsley landed that lame ass PI show.

As for Heavy Metal II, there is a movie coming out called FAKK2 starring Julie Strain that HM is involved with.

I'm still waiting for "History of the World, Part II"! "JEWWWWWS INNNN SPAAAAAAAAAACE! Protecting the Hebrew Race!" Or howabout that film with the 3 bare-breasted chick (and Arte Johnson) and one gets possessed by a Tasmanian imp from a book bound in human skin? "Just wait until the sequel" were his last words as he passed into the book again.

Actually, there's only one TRON movie (a sequel) in early pre-production right now.....the rumor was that there were two SEPARATE TRON movies being considered (not 2 sequels).......read about it here - http://www.darkhorizons.com but here's a quote of the article......

I hope at least the sequel is true.......but I also hope it's not TOO '90ish.....that would suck donkey balls.

End of Line.

interesting setting and secondary characters.

I'm not sure. Wasn't that character made up just for the movie?

Yeah, it looked like the last part was cut out. I agree that Moses should've brought Kenny back to life at the end. And no one yelled "Oh my God..."

That's the one. His name was so thoroughly hated that you had to drown it out with noisemakers ("greggors") whenever the speaker mentioned it.

I found the constant references to "Moses" a little jarring. Wonder if if the CCCensors made them change it from "God" to "Moses"...?

I just realized something. Kenny did'nt HAVE to die by hitting his head against the conch shell to free Moses. He could have simply called for Brian Boitano. HE woulda fixed Haman's wagon, fer sure!!

P.S. Why do I get a feeling that the meteor shower theme will be relevant come the time this year's Halloween episode rolls around?

Dreamweaselfurplay

furplay wrote in message ...

No, that just wouldn't work.

I can imagine the Elders now:

"Who the hell is 'BWMM-MM BWMM-HMM-HMM'...?"

Dw

"groggers" (bastardized english spelling aside) are also the things Moses was talking about when he said that the elders should put macaroni in between two paper plates glued together. and then put glue on the outside, so you can put glitter on the outside, so they look pretty.

The groggers/noise makers that I used to use in temple were just metal rectangles connected to a handle. You just spin it around really fast, and inside the rectangle were metal/plastic gears/teeth that slid across each other, making a nice, noisy sound, perfect for silencing Haman's name.
