Maybe Cartman's dad was revealed - 4/1 clues...

While most folks write off the April Fool's episode as a waste of their time, I give credit to Matt and Trey for providing a show so distracting that you all may have missed/ignored the clues that it did contain. I seem to remember having seen somewhere that Comedy Central promised that Cartman's dad would be revealed in the April Fools episode even though it was April Fools Day. Then T&P show up for a half hour and everyone goes ballistic. Here's what you may have missed:

When T&P show up in Terror-on (as I prefer to call it) looking for Sally, there is a visitor present in one of the street scenes (the one with Sally in it, right after T&P first see her and say "there she is"). This is the only South Park character in the entire show except for those seen on "lame American" TV.

And let us not forget that the title, Not Without My Anus, may be a reference to Cartman Gets an Anal Probe (My = Cartman), the episode featuring the visitors.

So the clues from Wednesday's episode point to Cartman's dad being a visitor. This would help explain why the visitors, instead of abducting Cartman through his bedroom window, walk right in the front door and drag him down the hall. Shoot, Ms. Cartman probably likes alien sex so much she gave 'em keys to the house...

P.S. In the South Park scene on lame American TV, Mephesto says something to the effect "father is someone" and then the next few words are drowned out by T&P noises. It might help to figure out what he said there, i.e. "someone from another world" or the like...

In Not Without My Anus, Mephesto said the same thing he had said in the Cliffhanger episode which was something like, "The father of Eric Cartman is definitely somebody in this room. The father is..." Then Cartman replies, "He's my dad?" So there are no visitor or alien references in what he had said. After reviewing the Cliffhanger episode, I believe that either Mephesto or Kevin the little monkey guy is Cartman's father. The banjo player in the flashback scene of the Drunken Barn Dance looks like a thinner and younger version of Mephesto and the guy playing the violin looks like Kevin even though the violn player was larger and had more hair than the Kevin that Chef asked about in the Starvin' Marvin episode. Perhaps Mephesto used him in an experiment and accidentally shrunk him and caused hair loss to Kevin's head. I could be wrong though because the banjo player also bears some resemblance to Stan's Grandpa. Remember in Pink Eye that Stan mentioned that Eric's mother was on the cover of Crack Whore magazine. How did Stan know this? Perhaps Stan's Grandpa had a copy of the magazine and Stan had found it. Also, Stan's Grandpa had claimed he did it with Cartman's mother in the Death episode. However, since he wasn't one of the men in the room with all of the suspected men to be Catman's father, this theory could be wrong too. However, Stan's Grandpa was out of town collecting $10,000 for the video of Kenny getting run over by a train on America's Stupidest Home Videos. Perhaps the $10,000 he won was used to shut Mephesto up into tellng anyone that he's the father. Either that or the reason why he entered the Kenny video in the first place was to save his bastard son from further embarassment if his tea party video ended up winning which it didn't thanks to his video of Kenny getting killed. No father wants to see their son being exposed as acting like a pansy especially when millions had seen it on TV. We'll see if I'm right when May 20th comes. That's the suspected start of the second season. The announcer at the end of Not Without My Anus did say the answer to who is Cartman's father would be revealed in a few weeks unless this too was an April Fool's joke on us South Park fans.

When I was looking at one of the various SP websites (Mr. Hat's Hellhole, http://www.thehellhole.com/) they had still images from the "Cliffhanger" episode. In the one still, when they were panning who was in the room (after the DNA sample), there was a "visitor" standing partially hidden behind one charecter (I forget which one). So that does leave open that possibility of Cartman's dad being an alien.

Not true. He says "The father of eric cartman is indeed someone in this room." I really heard that, that is not a guess, that is what was said. Everything after that was completely drown out. I am still trying to isolate the noise on my computer and see if I can tell who it is. But untill I know for sure I won't make any more guesses.

It's not a mistake! Iran, Iraq, what's the difference? They were consistent, the first letter said the daughter was being held by Iranian Terrorists.

After re-reviewing both Cliffhanger and Not Without My Anus, I now have to agree with the theory that Cartman's father is a visitor unless Matt and Trey have fooled people like myself again. In Cliffhanger, the visitor is hiding on the right side of Chief Running Water. In Not Without My Anus, the visitor is standing on the left hand side of the crowd scene in Tehran. Since Mephesto did say that the father was indeed somebody in the room (not necessarily one of the men that Mephesto had said out loud), the visitor can clearly be made a major suspect especially because the visitor was slyly hiding behind Chief Running Water. My former main suspect, Stan's Grandpa, wasn't in the room so he can't be the father. We'll have to wait until May 20 unless that was another April Fool's joke.
