SOUTH PARK CANCELLED

NEW YORK --- (AP) Much to the dismay of millions of fans, South Park will be taken off the air after Wednesday night's epsisode. Apparently, enough parents groups got together after the Arkansas shootings and forced Comedy Central to pull to show.

Other instances occurred in the Eastern U.S. when children were playing games like "Kill Kenny" and "Death" where students died when "Death" touched them. Many schools have already banned South Park clothing and stickers.

"South Park has been a cash cow for us," said Comedy Central spokesman Lirpa Loof. "For now we will run Police Squad in its place and hopefully secure the ratings we are accustomed to."

Tonight's epsiode will show who the father is of Eric Cartman, the fat kid who is the butt of many jokes, and airs at 10pm. His mother has been labelled as a "crack whore" who slept with every man in town.

If you ask me the stupid people are all the ones who respond, feeling they have to tell him it's a joke. He probably knows it's a joke, but it's the same question I would ask, was it actually released to AP by CC, or was it just something someone wrote?

Some people...the CC "spokesperson" is Lirpa Loof...duh! April Fools spelled backwards...some people are so gullible :-)

I knew it had to be an April Fools joke since I first read the title. Besides, one teacher in my school tried to do the same joke today. Besides, you can't blame SP for the murders in Arkansas because there was no episode where one of the boys shot four kids and a teacher.

After tonight's pathetic April Fool's joke, I don't care if it IS cancelled. Everyone involved can get a pink slip as far as I care.

this makes me think this is just another bad rumour, I don't think an AP guy would talk like this

(although I agree with the first response, after the "big joke" I don't care if the show _is_ cancelled, I'll be perfectly happy watching all my episodes on tape, I have them all!)
