Is there a death gene?

Is there a gene which leads to habitual death? Let us look at the
evidence.
	1. Kenny is blown away by a UFO.
	2. Kenny is crushed by a volcanic rock.
	3. Ned shoots Kenny.
	4. Mr. Garrison shoots Kenny.
	5. The opposing football team tore Kenny apart.
	6. Kenny is thrown into the microwave and is fried.
	7. Kenny's father is the first to fly up against the Cartoon
	    Central building.
	8. Death touches Kenny and takes him away with him.

In each episode, Kenny dies. In the last episode, aptly titled "Death", we also see his father die. Is this habit of dying genetic? Could we trace the entire family by their habitual death? Was this gene created by the mad scientist who lives in the South Park Genetic Park? And if so, does Kenny have an extra ass?

Questions abound...

Actually, Kenny has three asses. He was a genetic experiment of Dr. Moreau's. Dr. Moreau felt he was genetically deficient since he had only 3 asses and Kenny was slated for euthanasia. Kenny escaped, however, and has gone on to live many lives showing that he is actually genetically superior since he's immortal!

Kate, do you have a cat? <snicker>

I think the answer lies in the first names of his parents: Harold and Maude.

I don't know. I've watched every episode over and over and I don't remember even seeing Kenny's parents, let alone learning their names. Unless I missed something, the only parents I've seen are Stan's mom and dad, Kyle's mom, and Cartman's mom.

Awww. Poor Kennys dad. He let himself be the first to splatter against the hard brick walls of the cartoon central building, and people don't even remember him...

I'm sorry, maybe I'm just slow or something but I don't get what the names of his parents have to do with it. What do they mean? Please exlain what you're trying to say. I'm just not seeing what you are.

"Harold and Maude" was a movie in the 70's (and later, belive it or not, an off off off broadway musical) about a boy obsessed with suicide and his affair with an elderly woman. A very dark comedy. Rent it today! ;)

I... take it you've never seen the cult classic 'Harold & Maude'. It's a sweet, sick love story of sorts between a death obsessedl teenager and a crazy old lady... If I remember correctly, one of the first scenes has Harold hanging himself to no avail... the poor guy keeps trying to kill himself, i.e. setting himself on fire, but he's such a schlemiel that he keeps living through it. It's a great movie; check it out... it's got everything. Black comedy, car theft, a love story, death, and teenage angst... Rent it today! :D ~

Sorry... I saw it about a month ago, and you're not remembering things correctly. I guess Harold could be called "death obsessed," But really, he seems to just be trying to get his mother's attention... He's not actually setting himself on fire, or hanging himself, or ritually commiting seppuku (hara kiri for you those who don't knoe...) - he's just pretending to do all these gory things which his mother just keeps ignoring...

The "Maude and the Cop" scene is great, though...

Rent it Today!

"Oh my GOD! They killed Kenny! You BASTARDS!"

The one line that had me on the floor (literally, and inexplicably) for about 15 minutes was "You're marrying a SUNFLOWER?".

Then the question has already been answered indeed! What a discovery! Bravo, sir, bra-VO. ~

I guess you'd have to call the seventh death 'divine intervention'.

(I know that's not technically correct, but I'm just trying to stay in the spirit of things)

I preferred the 'Death" death myself. Something about Kenny lying there with one eye closed and the other half open. [email] (Hammer nail here--> <-- for a new monitor.)
