My take on the very end was that Kyle just resigns himself to have to say "Yes it could happen," and he knows what Cartman is going to do. It's like "arguing" with David Tholen. Cartman still gives Afleck hand jobs and stuff.

Actually, I figured he was insane way back when he did all that to Scott Tenormen just to get back 13 dollars or so. Sure he was an asshole, but cartman went way too far.
