TV rating for SP in the US

What kind of rating has SP got in the US? In australia it is rated PG with most of the swear words bleeped out (mainly the F*** word) and its on at 830 pm on a saturday night. how does this compare to the US?

Also while we are at it, its also sponsored by Kelloggs, before and after the show they flog their cereal products, are they aware of what they are sponsoring? what is the sinister connection? (if any?)

South Park is rated TV-MA (for mature audiences only) on Comedy Central. The only word that has been bleeped out on the show in the US is the F-word.

The rating is TV-MA, which is the most adult rating a show can get. Also, it comes on Wednesday nights at 10:00 pm (9:00 pm Central Time).

We'll see on Wednesday when Tom's Rhinoplasty airs on Comedy Central. Maybe Damien will be the only TV-14 rated episode of South Park. I still feel that the TV-MA rating was too high a rating for South Park since most of the foul language is bleeped out in each episode. If they left the language in then the TV-MA rating would have been appropriate but since they did bleep out the harsh language then the show should have been rated TV-14 since its humor matches that of Beavis And Butt-Head. Perhaps Comedy Central saw it the same way I did and changed the rating of South Park from TV-MA to TV-14. Perhaps not. Like I said, we'll see Wednesday when the next new episode, Tom's Rhinoplasty, premieres.
