Matt & Trey & Scripts

How do Matt and Trey feel about using scripts for South Park episodes that were written by outsiders? I have 2 complete and 1 incomplete South Park scripts which I wrote, and I'd like to know if if if I sent them to Matt and Trey, they might think of putting them on the air.

I have heard that comedy central doesn't allow it for legal reasons, so it really doesn't matter. But I don't know what M&T's personal feelings are

It would be great if the fans kept the show going even after Trey and Matt move on to something else, but the legal problems that could arise over copyright would be a pain in the ass for them.

They would probably send them back unopened.

Nobody accepts unsolicited scripts. Legal reasons.

Well, I might try if I could be bothered by adding a sheet of paper that basically states that:

If Comedy Central and/or Matt and Trey use the scripts it becomes their property and may do whatever they wish to it, If Comedy Central and/or Matt and Trey make any profit from the scripts they get to keep the cash.

Then sign your name and the date. This will increase your chances by a little, but they may still not accept it.
