rosie 0'donnel == bad?

anybody know why, specifically, trey and matt think rosie sucks? i mean, i don't know anything about her other than she was funny in that "league of their own" movie and now she is yet another daytime talking head.

the reason i'm asking is because rosie gets a pretty good slam, and off the top of my head i can't think of anybody but BARBARA STRIESAND who gets slammed worse. i know why they hate BARBARA STRIESAND (because of her fucking with the colorado ski industry which so many small town coloradans depend on for their livelihood) but why do they hate this rosie o'donnel chick?

Because she's an unfunny, annoying bitch.

1. Ever see her standup routine? That annoying accent and poor joke delivery makes her unwatchable.

2. She had Tom Selleck (an NRA member) on her show and badgers the guy about the evils of guns - yet she is a shill for K-mart who sell guns in many sizes and shapes.

That's just two reasons... I could probably come up with a few more but I want to watch The Critic.

Well, I don't know if you remember this, but about a year or so ago, Roise said some remarks of a political nature that offended a fairly large group of american citizens. It got her a fair amount of attention and a great deal of scorn, and might well be the reason her show has been dropped.

If Parker and Stone are conseratives or libertarians, it's fairly possible they are a members of the group who got offended, which I'm not going to name for feel of starting a political debate.

When was her show dropped? I noticed that, even though every other channel had football, her crummy show was still on on time! This is a good example to compare with the anti-Britney Spears thread going on here also. I *hate* Rosie O'Donnell. I think she's completely unfunny, possesses an incredibly irritating voice, and is no treat to look at to top it off. *But*: I accept the fact that she is very popular among other groups. I accept that she is loved by millions of people. I do not let my opinion of her cloud my thinking so that I must insist to everyone that it is the rare person who thinks she is popular or funny. I do not take the general consensus opinion of alt.tv.southpark to be representative of the nation as a whole, which is a good thing, btw. The same goes for Alec Baldwin.

I used to like her comedy, but it seems as if the minute she got her show, she was totally watered down. Either that or she morphed to go with the general public or her own reasons, but still, she's not the same as she was on VH1.
