That's what I read, right here in this newsgroup, months ago. There would be 8 episodes in a row and then a hiatus.

I thought Comedy Central was telling the truth when they said new episodes all summer long, oh well.

Well, usually, summer is considered the time when public schools are out. Public schools started back up this Monday, so in a sense, summer is over, and CC wasn't lying.

Why? Shouldn't it be the other way around? It costs the taxpayers more money to keep the kids in school longer.

Anyways, I always thought getting July and August off was standard throughout the USA and Canada. Are they scraping away at school holidays to compete with Asian kids who study 24/365 now?

I think there's really more to it than just a matter of taxpayer-subsidized daycare. I think it might have to do with the increased competition and cultural permeation from the intellectual European snobs and the Asian work droids on a global scale. Now if only our culture could instead dominate, and influence these foreign kids to become school-skipping, nose-piercing, drug-using, bush-partying hedonistic animals who live out their youths the way they were meant to be lived.
