It depends on the network. Some networks allow it, some only allow "ass," and some don't allow either one.

Not that they know about. When your business is being popular, and you *know* there's usually a mike around, and you're *still* such a dumbfuck you say something stupid...sheesh.

Dubya pointed out a reporter from the NY Times (Adam someone) in the audience and said to Cheney that the reporter was a first class asshole (or words to that effect). Cheney replied "big time". He was the presidential candidate for one of the major parties. It doesn't get much more prominent that that, except now that he is president, or when his daughters get caught drinking:-)
