I think that Matt Stone and Trey Parker did the right thing and not actually give Cartman a real father. I think it would have made the whole Cartman situation really stupid and right now it would be hard to introduce a new character into the show and make him an impact. I honestly don't know why people really got upset because they didn't say who it was. I have to give Matt and Trey credit for not cracking and giving the public what they wanted. And I know that there are going to be people like "Why was Cartman's mom in the Crack Whore magazine then if she's a hermaphodite?" and there is only one good answer for that and it is.... it is just a cartoon and cartoons never really follow any specific pattern. For example...the Simpsons.
