Normally, leftards quack support for the idea of absolute supremacy of federal law, but here we see a leftard quacking that sharia "law" should be given equal -- perhaps even superior -- status to federal and state laws.
Even stranger is how the leftard invokes the First Amendment as justification for sharia "law": the First Amendment guarantees the right to practice one's religion freely; sharia "law," however," prescribes the murder of those who convert from Islam to another religion.
The First Amendment also guarantees the right to freedom of speech, even when the speech is offensive to others. Sharia, however, prescribes the murder of those who dare to "blaspheme" the cult of Islam and its oh-so-fucking-holy "prophet." The fatwas of death against Salman Rushdie, the creators of "South Park" and the Danish cartoonists were all issued under and perfectly legal under sharia "law." This is what leftards are defending.
There is no need to specifically ban sharia, just to recognize that the U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land. Since sharia is in direct contradiction with the Constitution and everything that America stands for, it it unconstitutional, and no further action is (should be) necessary.
It should also be noted that Zepp and his various sockpuppets were quacking about the evils of Wicca earlier today -- demanding that Republican Senate candidate, Christine O'Donnell, be burned at the stake for "dabbling in witchcraft" when she was younger -- yet these same leftards demand respect for a medieval brainwashing cult which stones women to death and murders homosexuals.
