Official Episode Name

Does anybody know what the official name is for Part 2 of the Handicapped episodes?

The Comedy Central page you listed is full of typos. Does that still make them official? I don't know why you'd put such emphasis on how the title has to appear there before it's official; Comedy Central and other networks, such as FOX, are very often incorrect, incomplete, and behind on their episode guides. I'd much rather depend on a superanal uber-fan before depending on some website interns.

Trust what you like, hell call the episodes what you like. But don't be surprised when you look for an episode in two months and cannot find it by any name you can remember or you made up.

I can see this message come in next month. "Any body know where I can download the episode 'cartman and wendy fall in love'?"

And we all go "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT????"

I mention the CC website to keep continuity and to deter people from calling them whatever they want. I love southpark and only wish everyone the same joy it gives me. So to make finding, downloading, talking about and referring to episodes in newsgroups easier, please stick to one guide. And the only guide to stick to would be The Networks guide.

I guess I am referring to this issue on a different level than you. I see the value in consistency as well, which is exactly why I hate the networks' guides. They are almost always inconsistent amongst themselves. Sure, they get the title basically right, but sometimes words get combined into one word, hyphens are added or left off, words are misspelled, etc. (This is a lot like CDs' lyric books that are very often wrong as well.) How about the episode entitled "Flashbacks"? That's what is printed on the DVD. Yet, the network guide calls it "City on the Edge of Forever" -- right? So, the web interns are right and the DVD is wrong? Both have "connection[s]" with the network...

As the network guide page is littered with typos, I would trust a good fan site to answer questions like these, just like I would trust rabid fans of musical artists over a lyric booklet when wondering about lyrics.

Still incomplete! Hell, even South Park's official Episode Guide (you didn't know there was another?) already has "Episode 411 — Probably" on its list! Where is it in the <a href="http://www.comedycentral.com/download/southpark/spmain.shtml">downlo ad</a> area?? And why haven't you written CC about getting the "Chef Goes Nanners" downloads up? Lord knows I have!

What's more, a month and a half ago, Comedy Central released this little statement:

<i>July 5th 10:00 p.m. - Ep. #408 - "Chef Goes Nanners" -- Chef's passionate protest against the South Park Flag enflames the entire town including the children. While the kids take sides and prepare for a big debate of the issue, Wendy finds herself strangely attracted to Cartman.</i>

You don't trust CC's press releases, prefering instead for the downloads to show up before an episode titla and number are "official"?! Then keep your head in the sand!

"Uber fan has no connection with the network..." Hell, an uber fan <i>shouldn't</i> have a connection with the network! A fan scours the the Web for information while the network puts out only what it wants to. It's the reason you can find episode information on some fan sites before you do on the network.

And one more thing: "YES. It is still official" is like saying that "Only the teaching found in the Catholic Church is still official."
