Poor Yoda.
I felt the recycling was merited. Think about it. When he said it to the cat, it was funny because that's how people talk to cats (and pets). When he said it to Marvin, it was funny because Cartman was treating Marvin like a pet (remember their earlier comments? "He's mine!" "We used my mom's credit card!", etc., etc.). Besides, we had a new 'Kenny's poo' joke. Besides, did you miss the line "So why is your family poo', Marvin? Is your dad an alcoholic, too?"
The Braveheart thing was top notch (notice how they letterboxed the screen for those scenes?) No song for Chef, but the scene more than made up for it. I busted up when I saw that the turkey was face-painted, too.
Great Cartman lines: "Hello. I am a lost little boy. Could you help me? Well, screw you!" "Hey! The Red Cross! I'd like some fried chicken and some mashed potatoes, please!" "My God...has forsaken me..."
Great Sally Struther's line (after Cartman let's everyone know about the food): "Oh, ****!"
Kenny's family: Mom, wears 'I'm with stupid' shirt. Dad, wears Scotch hat.
"Dear God. We don't understand why you like making us suffer, and we don't understand why you took our son from us, but we thank you for this can of green beans. Anyone have a can opener? God damn it."
The mayor's office scene was awesome, as well. One question. Where was she keeping that jackass, and what was she doing with it? I bet that it has nothing to do with the Japanese mafia. Not a thingie-dingie.
I'd say more, but I've only seen it once.
Let's see, the second half of the Halloween special. Chef does Thriller. "Do not start decapitating zombies left and right. I repeat! Do not start decapitating zombies left and right!" "Uh, OK." "Oh my God, *I* killed Kenny!" "See, we told you your mom was on the cover of Crack Whore magazine!" Cartman going from sobbing to "let's go eat candy" in the blink of an eye. Kenny rising from the dead, only to have a statue and then a plane crash onto him.
What wasn't funny about that?
