Seems they're going back to the well quite a bit now that Butters is in the lineup..

First Jud appears again in Aspen, now the Freaks come back in more authentic forms (they were the Ramseys, Condit and OJ last time), and both were refered to in "Butters' Very Own Episode."

But didn't they do that already?

I thought it was a great episode. The first good one of the season so far, and a welcome change from last week's episode, which got no laughs out of me. It was a nice way to take a shot at trash talk shows that patronize and exploit the unfortunate, while at the same time, make fun of the labour movement.

Stories seem to work best lately when they focus on Butters as the central character. Is the Butters-Cartman tandem a godsend or what? Is anyone still upset that Kenny has been replaced by Butters?

And I love how they continue to taunt and tease the Kenny freaks (npi) by starting the show with an appearance of a fake Kenny (heh heh heh), though the Kenny back references and jokes ("Kenny was cooler", "Kenny would've done it", "(not) (not) not Kenny", etc.) are starting to get old. Time to move on.
