Someone that DIDN"T buy a bogarted copy of BLU

Just wanted to drop in and give a nice story for once. My hubby just got back from a WestPac and the sub had a stopover in Malayasia and some other countries. Anyways, in Malaysia they had bogarted copies of just about all the movies out now, EXCEPT SP: BLU. Apparently, it is illegal to sell anything related to SP over there. He stopped in another country though and found one, dirt cheap, good quality, but didn't buy it. Decided that we can wait until it comes out and buy the "real" version. Hooray for someone that finally didn't buy the illegal copy when it fell in his lap.

I was thinking the same thing. Like "Dude, don't bogart those nachos", or "He's bogarting the scotchgard".

I've always thought it meant someone who wasn't careful, and slobbered all over a joint/cigarette, so when they DID share, no one wanted it anyway.

Ok, I know you all want to hear my opinion on bootlegs (haha). Well, for music bootlegs, I think you should buy an offical album...however any unreleased songs or concerts should be considered fair game unless they put them out.

As for movies, I'd buy a bootleg copy of SP:BL&U if I saw one. However, I'd also buy an offical version. Maybe being a musician has adjusted my views a little bit I dunno.
