YES, THE CHRISTMAS EPISODE REALLY DID SUCK

I'll tell you all something. I didn't laugh much through this Christmas episode. But there are many reasons for that. Anyone who's seen The Spirit of Christmas or even the Frosty short that most "Loyal Fans" haven't seen because they're too stupid will tell you that compared to Trey and Matt's earlier Christmas ventures, this episode paled in comparison. There were some good parts (the Kyle's mom is a bitch song [even though that topic is getting old], the fact that Kenny didn't die), but other things just pissed me off. I've been hearing the rumors about Mr. Hanky for some time now, and Kyle's mysterious fried turned out to be a piece of shit. What angered me was that his lines weren't really that funny. This episode appealed more to the people who like toilet humor rather than jokes that only people with a brain get. Don't get me wrong, I like the toilet jokes, but what makes me fall off the couch laughing are the smart jokes (calling someone a Vas Deferens, something idiots have never heard of). That's what's so great about shows like the Simpsons. Give me a break

Once again, the uninteligent let themselves be known...For those who have a dictionary, try looking it up...OK, for those of you who are too damned stupid to look up a word in the dictionary here it is..."a spermatic duct esp. of a higher vertabrate that in the human male is a thick walled tube about two feet long that begins at and is continuous with the tail of the epididymis and eventually joins the duct of the seminal vesicle to for, the ejaculatory gland" straight from Webster himself...now isn't that line a hell of a lot funnier?

God I really hope this guy is joking because if not, then he obviously doesn't realize what the hell he's laughing at. Maybe you should be the one watching 3rd Rock.

Look up Vas Deferens in a medical dictionary and you'll have your answer.

Granted, I missed the original post (so I could be taking this out of context), but...

I don't know... Maybe I'm just too scientifically oriented, but the vas deferens (proper spelling) is the tube which directs sperm from the testes to the urethra. If I'm NOT taking this out of context, then maybe YOU should be watching 3rd Rock...

If I AM taking this out of context, then I apologize profusely.

All in all, the Christmas episode did suck. There were some funny THINGS in it, but the episode sucked. I hated the fact that Kenny didn't die, but loved the fact that a bird crapped in his mouth. The "It's Hard To Be A Jew On Christmas" song was hysterical! The second verse made quote of the week on my web page (see below).

Happy holidays to all... Adam

You ARE joking, right? I mean ... you just said this to be funny, right?

You're the dumbass, the vas deferens is part of the male anatomy! go look it up in the encyclopedia! Don't call people fucking retards you twit.

well, it didn't suck. the mr. hankey plot was terribly horribly annoying. but the non-offensive christmas was outright hilarious. esp. the kyle's mom's a bitch song. a 5/10 for the mr hanky plot. a 10/10 for the non-offensive christmas one.

overall, a 7/10

Actually, it was the first SP episode i've seen. So if you guys are bashing it THIS much, I cannot wait until next week.

Ok, seeing you have webTV and can't even afford a real computer to get online with I doubt you are going to be able to afford travelling somewhere to kick anyones ass. I liked the episode myself.

It is also very wrong to compare South Park to the Simpsons. South Park will never be as "smart" as the Simpsons and we all should know that... They're very funny in very different ways. Take the show for what it is, it is mostly toilet humor and if you would favor smarter jokes over the toliet humor why did you ever start watching South Park in the first place?

Michael Wolfensberger

I agree....it's not fair to compare SP to the S's. Both have different styles (Simpsons is "smarter" and South Park is more "gross kiddie stuff") and they're both great.

Ok Steve let me get this straight...You didn't laugh at the Cartman song? You
didn't laugh at the "Ike's on Fire" lines? This had to be one of the funniest
episodes that I've seen. And I consider myself to be a loyal fan. (I can't
STAND the people that have hopped on the bandwagon because the show is now
popular) I'm not so fanatical that my life revolves around the show, but I
remember the first couple weeks when no one in my school knew what the show
was, and thought my friend and I were nuts when we walked around the halls
yelling "Kick the Baby!" Now, everyone and their brother knows what the show
is, and constantly misquote lines, and refer to Stan as Kyle and other annoying
stuff like that. But to make a long story short (too late!), how can you judge
whether or not a fan is "loyal" or not? Just because I liked the Christmas
episode, does that not make me a "real fan"? Just because I don't have the
time (or fast modem) to download a 50 meg file does not mean i'm not a loyal
fan.
While I'm writing, I might as well share my opinion with the group as to why
South Park is so popular. If you saw the Howard Stern movie, it has a scene
where they describe a listener survey. "The average Howard Stern HATER,
listens for an average of 3 hours per day (or somewhere in that neighborhood).
Reason? To hear what he's gonna say next." I feel that the "I can't believe
they said that" aspect is a big factor in the current popularity of the show.
Also, how can people say that Matt and Trey are not making a statement about
the loss of the meaning of Christmas? It is soooo incredibly obvious, the Mr.
Hankey speech basically sums up their point, if you don't believe me, go back
and listen to it again. I believe it's called "illustrating absurdity by being
absurd" They, as I and many of the viewers are, I believe, are disgusted by
the "politically correct" movement that is so prevalant in the media and
society today. I find it incredible that South Park can simultaniously push
the envelope, be hilarious, and make a point. Sorry for the length, thanks for
listening and a merry christmas to all.

Dumbass: Unless you are a female, a 'vas deferense' most certainly DOES exist. I'd suggest you check your facts, before attacking someone with your superior intelligence.

Ok, maybe he doesn't have "no such thing as a vas deferens". And I hope that's right, so he doesn't reproduce.

On topic... I thought the x-mas episode ruled. The "You are the Jewish community" had me laughing for days. Does anyone know what Ike said when he was being put out? Sounded something like "Hey Girlfriend"... He shoulda started singing Billie Jean or something.(Kiddies... that's a Michael Jackson reference.. he got burnt up before you were born).

Jake

Whoever saids its a dissapointment must be one of those fans that just started watching South Park and wants to see Kenny die every episode, and hear somone say, "Kick Ass" or "Yeah, I want my Cheesy Poofs." But, for any of you hardcore South Park fans like me, who've seen it since it first aired. The Christmas episode was a pleasant change, without loosing it's humor, and plain out unpredictablity. There are a bunch of funny-ass parts and Mr. Hankey rules.

Gee, i thought what I was saying was clear, but this proves me wrong. I was saying that mr. hankey being disgusting was exactly what was being shot for. I didn't mean that i could have gone w/o it.

That was so damn funny! A bit disgusting, but very funny! Toilet-humor to a T! [email] Owner of South Park: @$%#?!!: http://members.aol.com/Yoda591/SouthPark.html (Everything!) Like Star Wars? I agree, the x-mas ep was one of the best episodes, well, if you're a die hard fan, like me. The reason most people didn't like it was because, like Yoda said-

-and because it was byfar the mose offensive episode. Jp [email] South Park website in the works!

I can't do the snipping so bear with me!

This is for the guy, Delville DeLane. Sorry, but thereis such thing as a vas deferens, and that was the line.......to which it was then asked what a vas defrerens was. To which then Kenny's ever so muffled reply was something like "it's a tube inside of your pee pee" (or something there close too!)

It's the tube they cut when a person has a vasectomy. . ROMAR }}}8 0 ::Oh My God, They've Killed Kenny" "The basic problem with civilization today is that all of our advances in agriculture and medicine have permitted really stupid people to live long enough to reproduce" Herbert Spencer

Why? The Frosty short is only mildly funny, and I didn't like The Spirit of Christmas all too much (maybe I'm sick of Cartman's bitching :) )

Mr. Hankey has always been a piece of crap. Where do you get your rumors?

Well, they were. You have to consider that he's a TURD, but he's acting like a saint (or something like that)

The Simpsons seems a lot funnier with those jokes, like they have more class.
