DONT BLAME COMEDY CENTRAL!!!

Okay, I might be the ONLY person in this group who was entertained by tonight's prank/episode...but I was...as someone here said, we ALL guessed and knew it in the first place and if you hadnt then shame you: THE EPISODE TITLE WAS APRIL FOOLS DAY ....I MEAN COME ON!!!!!!!!....but the thing that is bugging me is the fact that you are all blaming Comedy Central like they have some huge conspiracy against us. If you feel the need to BLAME anyone for celebrating a holiday here, blame Trey and Matt...THEY were the masterminds.

I can just about promise you that when the CC people got the episode they thought "Oh S**t, people are going to be so pissed about this...." I can just see the bigwigs there getting really mad knowing what they are about to have to deal with.....I say dont blame them. Their only other choice would have been to air NOTHING...or worse, a repeat, and the EXACT same reaction would have taken place....so I think it was nice to have new programming.

Anyway, again I say I was entertained and you all need to LIGHTEN UP!!!! Its not like someone killed your dog! Your life will go on...I promise. There, I said my peace, flame if you feel you must. Tommy.

FUCK Comedy Central, everyone and their mother knew the day it was announced that the cliffhanger conclusion would be April 1st, that it would be a joke. Comedy Central blatantly went out of their way to assure us at their god damn web site that the father would absolutely be announced, and promised it was no prank. They are fucking liars, and have shown us that they will stoop to any levels just for ratings. What's worse is that their comercials hyped the show endlessly.

Oh, boo-hoo. Grow up. "But...but....<here come the tears>...they PROMISED! BWAAAAAAAAA!" Hello? A joke of that nature isn't very good unless the setup is fairly elaborate! Yeesh!

Yep. They will stoop to any levels. As will any network. Broadcasting is a competitive business, and you get your viewers or listeners where you can. You don't like it, don't watch.

Admittedly, I haven't scanned all this spam/moaning/bitching/flaming thoroughly... over 800 postings in the last 36 hours, I don't have time to read ALL of them... But to the best of MY knowledge, no one lied to us... they just kinda fudged it a little. :-)

Do you really think they just show these shows out of the goodness of their hearts? They do it for money, genius. As long as those advertising dollars keep rolling in, they'll keep showing it. Here's a little tip for all you whiny boycotters: Not watching the show or Comedy Central in general doesn't do shit. If you're really serious about this, write letters to the companies that advertise during the show. Of course, the most probable result would be the complete loss of South Park, so you're just basically shooting yourself in the foot.

If it bothers you that much that you really refuse to watch the show anymore, well fine, that's probably the best solution. Just don't come in here and tell us all about it. We don't really care.
