Well, I am one of the *rare* people here who actually watch South Park legally :) I'm a 20 y.o. Canadian, and I live near Montreal (for those who don't know, that is in the French-speaking part of the country).

Hmm... You got a point there :) But I think I got an explanation for that. It's because most of us got a job, and not very much spare time to write stories. You guys write them during school, right? Don't lie! :) Oops, lunch time, gotta go! :)

Well cool. So I'm not the only adult around these parts.

My son (almost 17) and my daughter (7) both love south park. The funniest thing happened the other day. My daughter came up to me, looked up with that beautifully innocent little face and asked, "What's an anal probe?" I almost died on the spot. Maybe you just had to be there, but I almost choked I was laughing so hard!

Seems like, more or less, SP fans are spread over the entire continent... and I think there are some in Britain, too... You'd think they'd have SP in non- english countries, like they do with Cartoon Network (Simpson-esque uhhhhggggggg).

At 31 years old, I'm afraid to enter this pool because of all you FIRST GRADERS! Thus, I've lurked until now.

But I do love South Park. And I seem to be closer in age to its creators than most of the posters in this NG.

BTW, my 5 year old son is angry with me because I won't let him watch the show. His daddy allowed him to view SP twice--last year's Christmas show, and one other episode. He now says, "Oh my god, they killed Kenny! You -----!" (leaving out the last word) and sings, "Kyle's mom's a hm hm hm" (just like that). At least he doesn't use the bad vocabulary, but he does better without the influence.

We live in NYC, my son attends public school Kindergarten; he has enough bad influences without TV MA getting involved!
