Even though the show was cancelled in the last episode, I'd like to see it return again. It was so stupid it was hilarious! I'd like to see it as a regular cartoon within a cartoon like Itchy & Scratchy on The Simpsons.

................................................ I didn't get it, but many have said that they are a parody of Beavis-n-Butthead. Guess if you stretch the imagination...
BTW, Hi - I am Gary M. You'll see me around here alot now. Other than Beavis & Butthead, this is my favorite show. Got all episodes recorded and stuff. This show is great! I've lurked here for awhile to get a feel for the group and now...posting here...hehheh

Funny... I always figured they were more of a parody of Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street.

Terence and Phillip is supposed to be a paody of South Park. See, all the kids are watching it, and parents are trying to stop it, probably like a lot of kids' parents are trying to get their kids no to watch SP because of the content. Also, it is mentioned in that episode, that "There is much more to life than two young men farting on each other." However, one of the episode's sub-plots is that there is a case of "Explosive Diarrhea" going around. Trey and Matt are kinda playing a joke on themselves, which I found to be very funny....

More like Beavis & Butt-Head. I have yet to hear of kids trying to off their dirt-old grandpa thanks to South Park.
The "pull my finger" part definitely is.
It's sort of a combination of Bananas in Pajamas (simple humor, lack of plot) and Beavis and Butthead (vulgar humor, lack of plot). BTW, Bananas in Pajamas is Australian, not English. Terence and Philip, though, are clearly English.
What can I say - we're just a bunch of dirty jerks... :)
