this one adds one more tiny piece to the puzzle. i've been confused about the conflicting stories about a suicide note ("there wasn't one", "there were two", etc.).

M.K. Bergman, provided
voices on `South Park' LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Mary Kay Bergman, who gave voices to
the mothers of ``South Park'' characters Stan, Cartman
and Kenny,
has died. She was 38. Ms. Bergman was home alone when she committed suicide on
Nov. 11 with a shotgun blast to the head in the Venice
area home she
shared with her husband, coroner's office spokesman Scott
Carrier
said Thursday. ``This was a complete surprise,'' said her attorney,
Robert Harrison,
adding there was no sign of depression. ``She did leave a
note, a
reason, but it didn't make any sense. She was a victim of
mental illness
and no one knew.'' The veteran voice-over performer was heard on both the
Comedy
Central TV series and the movie ``South Park: Bigger,
Longer and
Uncut.'' ``South Park'' co-creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker
were too
distraught to comment and they were ``mourning her loss
privately,'' a
Comedy Central spokeswoman said. Ms. Bergman's credits included supplying voices on ``Star
Wars:
Episode I -- The Phantom Menace,'' ``The Iron Giant'' and
``Mulan.''
In recent years, she inherited the role of Daphne in the
new
``Scooby-Doo'' videos.
