In BL&U Cartman says about the T+P movie "...the Animations are crappy." So they know that T+P are toons. But the kids live in the same "world" as T+P. They can even meet them. So, do they know they are also toons? :)))

This has been discussed before in here, and the conclusion was that "Asses of Fire" was a cartoon based on the "real life" Terrance and Philip (real life according to the South Park universe, of course).
