Garrison:Okay class, we have a new student joining us today. (An 8 year old blonde girl wearing a woodland camo Boonie hat, matching BDU's, and Danner boots.) Ashley:[address] name's Ashley McCormic, My cousin Kenny's in this class, I'm a Staff Sergant in the U.S. Marine Corps Force Recon division, and I don't really see why I'm here, I've got a university education! Garrison:[address] a seat now or else I'll beat you like a redheaded stepchild! (Ashley pulls out an M16A2 Carbine.) Ashley:I'm the Marine [address] and gimme 50 or the puppet dies!!!!!!(Aims for Mr.Hat.) Garrison:Okay, okay!!!

After school...

(Kyle and Ashley are walking home.)

Kyle:Hey Ashley, that was pretty cool. Ashley:I know. Kyle:Well, I gotta go, date with Meleny. Ashley:Oh, bye! (Ashley sighs, Kyle goes off for his date.) Ashley:I wish I had a bf...

Ashley's house...

Ashley:Wonder what's new in my E-mail? (Ashley checks her E-mal.) Ashley:Huh?Matt's moving here?From L.A.?!?!SWEET!(Ashley hugs herself.)

The next day at the bus stop.

Ashley:Hi guys! All:Hi. Meleny:Hi, so you're new here? Ashley:Uh-huh.Anyone wanna huck eggs out of the Book Depository's windows? Meleny:Sure! Kyle:Sweet! Cartman:Killer! Stan:Kickass dude! Kenny:Sure!

Book depository.

The scamps are tossing food out the windows onto the ground. Kenny:[address] at Barbrady!(Barbrady is plastered with cottage cheese, rancid coleslaw, and four month old pudding.) Barbrady(from below):Carry on. Ashley:Cool! Stan:Hehehehehe!!!!! Kyle:Cool dude! Meleny:Sweet!!!(Tosses a cluster of fart bombs into the street, followed by screams of disgust, vomiting noises, and assorted cries of protest.) Ashley:Good one!(Pats Meleny on the back.) Kyle:Kickass!(Hugs Meleny.) (Door opens.) (Ashley turns around.) (A boy with crimson hair, a half blue/ half red jacket with four pockets, two on each side, kahakis, and black jungle boots.) Ashley:MATT!!! Matt:ASHLEY!!!(They run to eachother and hug.) Ashley:Dude, I missed [address] are you? Matt:I'm fine, I got in just in time, before the fart bombs! Meleny:Um, don't look at me...(Hides fart bombs behind back.) Matt:Okay then, how have you been? Ashley:Good so far, lemme introduce you to everyone.This is Stan. Stan:Hi. Ashley:This is Kyle. Kyle:Hi dude. Ashley:This is Cartman. Cartman:Hi...*under breath.*loser. Matt:I heard that!(Punches Cartman.) Cartman:AY! Ashley:Calm down tubby.This is Kenny, my cousin. Kenny:Hi.(Slips on a rotten bananna and falls out the window.) Stan:Oh my god, they killed Kenny! Kyle:You bastards! Ashley:Oh god no! Stan:Dude, it happens every week! Ashley:Oh.And this is Meleny. And the fact that all these new characters are being introduced and interacting with each other, while, Stan, Kyle and Cartman have little to say other than "Cool" or "sweet" or Kick ass!" All these new characters are turning the true stars of the show into secondary characters. (Although Petey Hurtz still rules)

Hi all!

For those of you newsgroup vets who remember me, I'm baaaaaaack! I didn't have my computer for a while (was having it fixed by a friend), and I've been extremely busy with classes. But now it's going to be a different, more relaxed quarter at school (we at UCLA are in the quarter system) which means more time for the ng again! Hehehe Incidentally, it's also gonna be my last quarter since I'm graduating in June! Hooray!

Anyway, it's good to be back and to see all the regulars- Dave, Covenant, Lone Wolf, Kyle Broslofski, DG Porter, etc.....and it's also cool to see all the new people.

And now, to put in my .02 about the Oscars........I didn't get to see it on TV, but I did see pics of Trey, Matt, and Marc online in their crazy ass getups- and is it just me, or does Matt look very poised with that pink wrap draped on his arms? I got to watch Robin William's performance when I downloaded it (kudos to beef-cake.com), and I think he did an ok job. Not spectacular, but not totally horrible. My only complaint really, was that it would have been neat if the "townspeople" looked more like actual specific South Park characters.

To people who were disappointed that "Blame Canada" didn't win- let's face it; the Oscars are for the most part, conservative. Yes they are demonstrating that they've matured over the years by choosing a film about an alternate look at the "perfect" American family for best picture and being able to even choose "Blame Canada" as one of the nominees for best original song. However, the members of the Academy are for the most part, pretty conservative and middle of the road and will thus continue to pick a mainstream contender for best song.
