In a way, it makes you proud to be an American to read a post like this. Isn't it great to live in a country where people can make this kind of statement without being harassed by the government. Unfortunately, it's also like picking up a rock in a riverbed and seeing all the bugs scoot. It makes you proud to live in a country that can have such a such a rich variety of life. But it also makes you wish you hadn't picked up the rock.

The media coverage of Princess Diana's death was O.K. because some people actually gave a rat's ass about her. But nobody cares about JFKjr.

They would have checked the sources first, and when they found out the threesome story was "broken" by a 12 year old kid in a South Park newsgroup, the story would pretty much blow over.

Pretty funny coming from someone on AOL. Seriosly though, I cared for a day or two but when the media was still telling us the same thing days later it kinda got old. JFK jr. is a good example because it was so recent, friday the media had told us that they (coast guard, navy. etc...) had found a few parts of the plane, OK thats good to know I guess but when monday rolls around and they are STILL telling us the same thing and even breaking into TV shows to tell us the same thing that is just stupid and a complete waste of everybodys time. I also don't care what the media thinks of the whole thing (I want NEWS damnit and NOT the medias opinion) I bet that most of the people on the PLANET knew that some wreckage had been found by day two. I just have to say in closing that the next reporter who parrots the "Video games are making this countrys children kill eachother" is going to find me on their doorstep dishing out bitch slaps. Actually one more thing, when did the media become so opinionated? if I want someone elses opinion I will; a) ask my wife b) ask my friends c) wander on to usenet when I watch the news however I expect to be "reported to" not "preached at" so in closing (again :) ) let me just say to ALL newspeople keep your opinions to yourself and stop beating stories into the ground, christ, you people make how much?, try and earn it by bringing us some NEW news.
