Not Without My Anus opinions

My friend is becoming interested in South Park, so after I bought this on VHS I showed it to him. He wasn't amused at ALL, and said Terrance and Phillip aren't funny. I hate it when people don't "get" Terrance and Phillip. The creators naturally realize that all T&P is is fart jokes, so they are parodying it.

Also, I read a previous post on this board that T&P is not "considered" an official South Park episode. I consider it official. I think regardless of how limited the four boys' contribution is to the episode, if it's made by Matt and Trey and it's set with the South Park theme and characters (T&P ARE South Park characters), it qualifies as an official SP episode. Don't give me that bullshit on how "it's a special" and "the boys aren't in it."

I think "Not Without My Anus" is one of the best episodes. It was a brilliant joke and Terence & Philip are in top form. If it weren't for Terence & Philip, especially that episode, I doubt the movie would have been what it was ... and the Movie was uncle-fVcking amazing!

I didn't say it wasn't considered an official South Park episode, just that, strictly speaking, it isn't. That's the only reason I see for Comedy Central doing the following: 1. Not showing it again 2. Selling it apart from the other episodes 3. Not including it for nomination as a favorite South Park episode.

Fine! Believe what you will! Ignore the announcer's statement in the beginning of the episode! It remains a special presentation of Terrance and Phillip as a South Park episode, but without any of the South Park characters we know and love in the story! That is what keeps it out of the running! Now, if Parker and Stone decide to make another Terrance and Phillip episode, then you can choose which of those two is your favorite! Until then, if there's an orange in a basket of apples, I would not choose an orange as my favorite apple, though they both be sweet, juicy, and good for you!
