I downloaded BLU a few months ago, the 80meg version. When watching it a few minutes in RP7, the sound is played before the animation starts. At the beginning, all works perfect, but after about 5 minutes of playing, I hear sound before the right scene is on my screen. Anyone else got this problem and knows how to fix it ? (I got a SB128PCI) Thanks in advance

Try to increase the buffering in the Preferences. Are you running WinNT or 95/98?

I'm running Win95. I tried to increase the buffering (tried 300) and I tried the other option "buffer entire clip", but nothing seems to work... really annoying :-( Another clue?

Sounds like the person who encoded it didn't set something right. Then, again, it might be an RP7 problem. I encoded the movie at 200kbps, with a 160x120 screen size with RealEncoder 5. I don't like the new G2+ players, I prefer RP5. Anyway, the resulting file was near 120 megs. Both video and sound are in perfect sync. If the person used RealProducer to encode the movie, he should've selected the "Surestream" option. The "Single Rate" option can cause the video and audio to become out of sync.
I am the one who encoded it, and I'm aware of the problem. I used real producer G2 to encode it. Single rate is the only way to go, unless you want a file 3 times bigger than needed. Anyway, I just bought and ripped the widescreen DVD to DivX, so if you want a better copy, check in on www.mrtwig.net in a few hours. I will be uploading it tonight. It is 430 Mb, but then again it's as good as DVD quality, so its worth it.

Also it wouldn't hurt to make sure that the file is not fragmented, run Disk Defragmenter in Programs>Accessories>System Tools
