That was friggin' horrible. Sweet jesus, it was horrible. They made fun of AIDS. They actually had the balls to make fun of AIDS. And they did it splendidly. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard. Their Philadelphia song was friggin' hilarious. Holy christ. Best episode ever. They're so going to hell.

Disappointing episode. Like most episodes, it had it moments. The whole storyline with Jarred, however, was way too drawn out and had one poor joke runnign through it. If I were to compare it to all other SP episodes and rank them all on a scale of 1-10, I'm guessing it'd end up scoring a 4.

It's becoming obvious that the writing crew is running out of ideas. Matt and Trey, HIRE MORE WRITERS NOW, and inject some fresh new ideas and extra creativity into the show!! The reason why The Simpsons was able to carry on so long is because they've had a long list of writers that have contributed over the years (as seen in the writing credits at http://us.imdb.com/Credits?0096697). South Park, on the other hand, with a roster of only five or so writers, seems to be dying a slow and agonizing death instead.

The whole one joke thing done a million times could be commetary on why they got rid of kenny in the first place. Why is kenny there? to kill in different ways. Not much more to him then that.

I'm not sure the simpsons is the best idea for a better alternative. Lately, most of the new shows are pretty much "Homer meets someone famous (Mel Gibson, The Who, Alec Baldwin) and hangs with them for a while". And they aren't nearly as funny as they were for the first 10 years.

I can't really comment, because, admittedly, I haven't watched The Simpsons in recent times. But as I understand it, it is enjoying a resurgence in ratings. So they must be doing something right.

As long as they're not the ones from TMB!.
