Bad karma and Comedy Central

Nowhere to download episodes. Just great. Now South Park has lost ratings. Why? The downloadable episodes are gone. and it's all Comedy Central's fault. If they are so greedy, why blame the internet? Now they are being paid back, slowly and slowly. Lost fans, lost revenue. I can't wait until Comedy Central will completely suffer.

alt.binaries.southpark every episode and most of the shorts have past thru here is the last three days. go there everyday for a week and you will see every episode at least once. Jay WTBF And stop bitching it makes you sound like a pussy.

Tell me Timmy 2000 didn't suck...it had its moments...I think that is finally changing with Fingerbang..that was hilarious.

Also, 90% of people who download the eps cant get comedy central (like myself), so that may be a problem as well..so the internet doesnt even figure into it.

Uh... you need to understand something... South Park has lost *TV RATINGS*. No matter how many people download South Park episodes from the internet, it doesn't affect the Nielsen ratings in any way, shape, or form. It never has and never will. Even Nielsen ratings are inaccurate.

Speaking of ratings...

Say out of 13,000 who own Nielsen boxes (a TV set-top box that keeps track of every channel that is watched by the owner, which that information is forwarded to Nielsen's mainframe daily), 100 of them watch South Park. Now...the U.S. population is about 260,000,000. So you multiply 13,000 by 20,000 and that equals 260,000,000. Ok. Now, multiply 100 by 20,000. You get 2,000,000. That's pretty inaccurate. All it says is that South Park is becoming less popular among Nielsen boxes.

Okay, I'll stop my ranting...

If you think there's "nowhere to download episodes" you haven't looked.

But beyond that:

If you think CC gains revenue by virtue of allowing downloadable eps to be available on the Internet, you're too confused to explain it to.

I think he may have meant that CC pissed off people and are losing viewers, but truth be known, SP is so good that no matter how much CC pisses me off, I still HAVE to watch SP. And thankfully, there are still episodes to download, so I can watch SP every day of the week whenever I feel like it.
