Cartman's Dad on 4/22

Looks like Comedy Central will air the Cartman's Dad episode in 2 weeks, on April 22.

Yep. Here's the news release:

NEW YORK - The South Park cliffhanger will be resolved this month rather than in May, thanks to hundreds of complaining fans. The cable network said Wednesday it moved up the broadcast of its episode where Cartman's father is revealed from May 20 to April 22. Comedy Central originally promised the answer on April Fools' Day, but the episode poked fun at cliffhanger television instead. Fans of the cartoon weren't amused. More than 2,000 people called or sent e-mails to protest.

Yup.. I just saw the commercial.... complete with the dialogue of someone cussing them out on an answering machine about the T&P ep....

CC said it would be revealed on 4/22/98 : "We Promise!"

According to today's Miami Herald (4/10) due to compliants received at Comedy Central, rather than airing the episode 5/20 they will be airing it 4/22.

The public has spoken! Way to go! :)
