Being a web tv webber here I dont understand something. How can I with my $ 100 toy locate numerous SP web sites with numerous gifs and wavs while these AOLers with their far superior computers cant find squat. My only drawback is I cant play the Xmas episode due to it containing too much data for web tv to handle. Definitely a reason to get a computer

I have numerous other options for ISP's. That's right, ISP. I often minimize AOL, open Netscape, and go where I want, using AOL as an opening to the net. Why would I want to drop AOL, when it would entail giving up all the extra features? I can see the advertisement now: "Get 20% less for the same price!!"

And I suppose you were born with a mouse for an umbilical cord and spouted hypertext before speaking. I get annoyed the same as everyone else on CAPS, one word posts, and binaries, but it comes from everywhere. Are you going to start asking what race posters are so you can further separate and berate them? With AOL being the largest (by far) of the ISP's, the largest number of posts, good and bad, are coming from there.

For the record, yesterday I attempted to find a site for consumer services to research types of vacuum cleaners. The search through Yahoo brought nothing but page after page of companies selling vacuums...not the most subjective source of information. I then checked in AOL which had Consumer Reports magazine where I found exactly what I needed. It was not available on the net.

If you have a problem with what someone says or does, don't punish everyone, go after the culprit. Don't lump a group into one category because for a few individuals, you dirty Jew.

I'm sure what you were looking for was available outside of AOL, it's a matter of finding it. Yahoo isn't the only search, in fact, I much prefer Alta Vista. There are many online magazines, check out http://www2.coursetools.com/cti/Illustrated/wwwic/bar1.html for a small listing. Just the same, I'm not missing your point.

I don't know why I have it that way, its probably cause I know people on AOL and I can chat with them, it also helps to track down an AOLer who has made themselves a persistent annoyance on a usenet newsgroup and see if they really are as stupid as their posts are, in most cases they are. :)

Hey Mark, please do not try to post binaries here. As a WebTV user myself, I used to get flamed because of my HTML graphics and sounds in my earlier posts to this newsgroup under my primary user name and e-mail address. I still use HTML in my e-mails to fellow WebTV users and in WebTV newsgroups but not in newsgroups like this one here where it's considered inappropriate.

Mark, I saw on your post an empty box at the end of your post. That was what I was referring to Mark when I said not to use binaries here that's all. I am just trying to keep you from being flamed by non-WebTV users here that's all. I speak from experience because I used to get offensive flames in this newsgroup. Just trying to help Mark.
