Well, if you insist.

Off the top of my head:

Stan or Bart? Wendy or Lisa? Cartman or Homer? Kyle or Milhouse? Sparky or Santa's Little Helper? Kitty or Snowball<take your pick of which one>? Ms. Crabtree or Otto? Principal Victoria or Principal Skinner? Mr. Garrison or Ms. Crabapple? Shelly or Nelson? Chef or Lunchlady Doris? Mrs. Broflofski or Marge?

That's all I've got. Anyone else?

Don't get the relationship here?!?

Ned or the one armed gun nut? SP TV announcers or Brockman? SP Booky or Moe?

Chef could have other counterparts; the school Janitor, the Simpson's Dr. Hibberd. Garrison as well could be equated with Smithers. Simpsons has had the time to build up far more recurring characters than SP. For example, who is the Burns of SP? EVERY town has to have the richest as well as the poorest. Also, it just dawned on me that SP doesn't have any churches, guess you don't need one when you have Jesus Christ living & working in town. Then again Simpsons doesn't have a mad scientist unless you count that nerd thats always inventing useless things.

(1) South Park must have a church if it has a minister.

(2) Who's Apu's counterpart?

(3) Would not Dr. Hibbert's closest counterpart (besides maybe Chef) be the doctor in the SP clinic (Halloween)?

(4) The Guidance counsellor and Dr. Marvin Monroe?

ooohhhh man are we starting to reach, the 2 completely different cartoons with no comparison. Its like saying the black plague and a cold are similar.

I once cried cause' I had no shoes, Until i cut off a mans feet.

Dr Monroe is about the closest thing to Kenny that Simpsons has. Other than Bleeding Gums I don't think anyone else has died. I'm not counting Snowball.

Hans Moleman is definitely the Kenny of the Simpsons. I know I've seen him run off the road at least twice, meeting a firey demise each time. I also remember him catching on fire (and surely someone 150 years old is't gonna survive that) and wasn't he actually executed in one episode? I know there are other instances I'm forgetting about, and yet there he is, week after week.

what about Millhouse? He gets the shit beat out of him all the time. i remember him even dying at least once or twice.

I don't remember that.

Actually in one episode Hans(at an AA meeting) states that he's only 35 years old. Godchristalmighty do I have a lot of free time.

He might have in the halloween specials, but those hardly count.

Don't feel bad, I remeber it too. I still love the film festival episode with him getting hit with the football. I know it's incredibly stupid, but I still laugh my ass off.

Yeah it sure was. I'm always happy to see repeats of it. The whole Critic part was too funny, with the hotdog song, and the belching...heehee.

It was just a great episode all around. The part where Jay burped and the car alarms started going off was hilarious.

I don't believe he ever *died* but he was pursued by the FBI (or something). He jumped from a waterfall (cf The Fugitive) but he didn't die. He lost his glasses, though.

However, his father got his arm sliced off once.

Um, I know that this is the SP NG, _BUT_ the scientist is named Professor Fink. :)

No, Cartman and Homer are both fat and stupid. While Cartman isn't idiot stupid, he is ignorant stupid. Ralph Wiggam is just an idiot. Mr. Marsh isn't fat or stupid. Not stupider than any other adult in South Park, that is.

Hmmmmm.....I can see Cartman as an illiterate pot-smoker, but he may be too conservative. Kenny's mom and dad maybe?

Now Laura, didn't "the establishment" teach you anything in school? Everyone who smokes pot is a useless hippie, with not blood flowing through their veins but a slow moving sap, which sucks away all motivation and self-respect. Being the "anti-hippie" freak that he is, Cartman would have to avoid all drugs. The McCormicks, however, are an interesting possibility, but I'm putting my money on the mayor. :)

They are both the same. The only difference is that Wiggum is funnier because he's the original.
