Not that it matters to me or should matter to anyone else--what they do sexually is their own private business---but if you see the 2nd volume video of SP, the 2 creators---can't recall their names--but most SP fans know who they are by now--admit to being gay just before the Gay Dog episode. So, with all the hooplah going on about how warped SP is---I'm sure that will be another fire of ammunition to use against the show & it's creator's. It's weird--I went to K-Mart today before buying these videos--& was told, "Uhh--we do not carry that stuff." real coldly. That stuff??????? As I was leaving, I looked to the right & saw their bang em up shoot up section of videos all complete with their video box covers of some women practically showing the cracks of their asses & thought---hmm---they carry this stuff---but have morals against carrying South Park?

Either way, IF they were gay, and the show is funny I dont care, just as long as they dont show it off to the public (if u catch my drift!). I would still like to think that they are playing for the heterosexual team though!

Who friggin' cares, man? Why is this even a topic of conversation? First they advocate the gay lifestyle and they plant the parodical seed of doubt in their viewers minds because comedy is the best gelcap for the analgesic of enlightenment, and we all run off and assume Matt & Trey are gay. And if they are, what will we do with this information? Assume certain choices they make for the show are dictated by their homosexual spin? I'm sure the God-fearing-thus-using-power-transference-nonthreatening- minority-hating censors would love to use that as justification, and you will unwittingly give them that ammunition. So now here's "Ike's Wee Wee," and we're going to brand the boys as acid heads. And if we're right, then what? Aha! They're gay acid heads! Explains everything! And so we see the building of a wall conceived of suspicion and assumption, not only in the minds of extremists but in the base audience, too. An issue addressed by the show can no longer be viewed for what it is, but also has the baggage of coming from two individuals that we think we know, but our knowledge is a charicature, and not an especially accurate one at that.

You might like to think we live in some ideal world that conforms to your ideas of equality, but we don't.. There's hundreds of thousands of people out there that can't stand homosexuals, and they have the right to voice their opinion on the subject. That's why it's a topic of conversation. Deal with it.

If they ARE gay, (which makes no difference to me) then you have to REALLY give them credit for saying all the un-PC things against gays that they do. That shows REAL sense of humor, and hope it makes other groups able to laugh at themselves and "lighten up"

SP can be viewed on several levels, ie it has a tendency (if you have half a brain) to make you think. If you start thinking you probably would not shop at KMart. KMart managers may be dumb but they're not stupid....or is it the other way around?
Either way it isn't good business....if I owned a newsstand near that K.Mart I would stock up on cases os Southpark Tapes knowing full well that consumers are looking for them. If Kmart had any sense at all, they would show some balls and have a display of them. Didn't they do the same to the Simpsons when it first came out? And remember the Simpsons are on a major network during prime time....unlike Southpark which is on cable.

Oh, I just got more evidence that *they* may be watching us. I thought of it in English class, hehe, it shows how much THAT holds my attention (damnit, she's been teaching for 8 years and she's still lousy at it). Anyway, a while back there was a small discussion about Kyle's dad's name. I don't think it was revealed before 'Ike's Wee Wee', so that might have been our influence as well. Or not. Remember, Matt's mom is named Shelia.
