Ok, I looked for an FAQ, sorry if this one has come up before, but what the hell are Croff Dinners?

I'm guessing it *is* a brand of food, maybe Canadian, perhaps it causes flatulence as well, who knows. Anyone have an answer?

Kraft Dinners, as is Mac & Cheese, I believe... You ARE referring to Bob and Margaret aren't you?? Sounds to similar not to be.

Uh... no... guess you haven't been watching SP too much. Kraft Dinners were mentioned several times by Terrence and Phillip. Apparently a very popular Canadian meal.

I thought it was Kraft or Kroft, but I reckon they are a brand of TV dinners.

They're macaroni and cheese dinners. :) The macaroni comes in a box, with a little pouch of powdered cheese. You first boil the macaroni for about 10 minutes, then add the powdered cheese, along with milk and butter, to make the cheese turn into actual cheese sauce. That's basically what that schtuff is. :)

Just sharing the extent of my cooking abilities. This and Jell-O and instant pudding, and I'm set. ;P

Just my own perspective, but as a Canadian, I have not met any fellow countrymen / women who actually eat or enjoy Kraft Dinner; its usually the food staple of University students or people of modest financial background; Moreover, we don't talk with pseudo-lame British accents. although the portrayal of Terrance and Philip is quite funny..................

I think the psuedo English accents are Parker and Stones own way of distinguishing Canadians from Americans. In fact I think NWMA says more about how other people view Canadians than it does about Canadians themselves.

They taste great, sort of like melted cheese on corn chips, but milder. The less water, or milk, you add to it, the better the taste. They're very filling, too.

background;

Like everyone else on this thread has already pointed out, it's referring to Kraft dinners as in Mac and Cheese. IMHO it's not like, a special Canadian thing or anything; the word just sounds like, "Croff" because of T&P's accents.

I see to remember there was a "circumspect" joke (I had that done when I was a kid) in an old Carry On movie once.
