Did EVERYONE here like "Baseketball"?

I saw the film today and while it did have some funny moments, it was not nearly as good as I had hoped it would be. I love South Park, so don't give me any crap about not being a fan. My main problem with the film was the "dramatic" scenes that have no business being in a goofball comedy. Does anyone in here agree with me?

I do. It's the standard problem with the 90s comedy - trying to do too much and be everything to everybody. I think the movie would have worked with most of the subplots gutted and shifting to an almost purely "us against them" with Coop/Remer against the Vaughn character.

I thought it was a decent movie, but not nearly as good as it could have been. I did feel that Matt and Trey carried it. Hactors or not, they did a good job.

You know what *REALLY* pisses me off?!?! I don't think a *SINGLE* theater in my area got Baseketball showing!!!!!!!! Maybe I should threaten to pour motor oil in the sodas, if they don't get that movie in...

what town do you live in. it's got to be small and i heard the movie is funny as hell. Unless you only like movies with great taste (my ass).

Actually, the town I live in doesn't have *ANY* movie theaters, but the town that is, like, 2 miles or so away from my town does have some theaters, and that's where I've been checking for Baseketball, but they never got it. That town is called Hazleton (there's a story behind the wrong spelling. Usually it is Hazel, but on the day when the town's naming certificate was being filled out, the mayor or some important official MISSPELLED THE NAME OF THEIR OWN TOWN!!! ) and it's in Northeast Pennsylvania.

I'm going to see Baseketball someday. But I'll probably have to wait to rent it. And I know I'm gonna love that movie! :)
