I thought it was the weakest of them all, though (of course) it did have its moments.
Problems:
Fart/diarreah humor just doesn't do it for me (EXCEPTION: in anal probe episode, it is used as a device to show that the kids are indeed kids, and is used as a plot device) The grim reeper was out of place and didn't make any sense Kenny's death is uninspired and dull (first time) No Chef song (first time) The Jewish mother thing is played out (expected more than traditional JMother from South Park)
Greater problems:
Plots that don't focus on the kids 90% of the time tend to drag (Death, Hunting) Plots where the kids get along well are boring (Death)
Good things in Death:
The opaque self-reflecting dissing of watching mindless cartoons Miserable grandpa Stan's matter-of-fact way of saying things and asking questions Kyle's increasing problem in pronouncing things, with a distinct pause The first Comedy Network statement The human sacrifice Cartman (the #1 source of humor for every episode thus far)
That's all, IMHO, of course.
