Orgazmo

I just finished watching "Orgazmo", the film about a Mormon porn star/superhero (and his sidekick, "Choader-Boy") by Trey Parker (co-creator of "South Park"). This is the full version that received great reviews at the Sundance Film Festival (because it was rated NC-17, though, it probably won't be distributed until it's editted down to an R-rating). I rather liked it. There really wasn't that much nudity in it; which is a good thing, since porn star Ron Jeremy has a big part (but we don't get to see it -- ew!) Here's the movie's theme song:

I saw Orgazmo too (the NC-17 version) and it was pretty good (much better than BASEketball but will probably do the same business at the box office if not worse since Orgazmo is an independent film). The theme song by DVDA (Trey & Matt's band), "Now You're A Man" was the same song used at the end credits of South Park's "Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride" episode.

I forgot to mention that Orgazmo opens in theaters this Friday.

When I heard the movie was getting an NC-17 rating, I wasn't surprised but on Jay Leno the other night Trey said that there's no nudity or violence (other than the great "kung-foo" clip they showed). Still, given the content they've managed to put into South Park, I can only imagine what Trey put into a movie about porn.

...not that I'll have to imagine for very long. Free passes to a showing on Tuesday. Whoo hoo!

Yes! Orgazmo was indeed wonderful! (And in watching Cartman Gets An Anal Probe -- again -- I just noticed that Cartman has a picture of Orgazmo on the back of his door...)

Dude, after actually seeing it for myself tonight, I really want to kick every member of the MPAA square in the nuts. There was NOTHING in that movie that warranted an NC-17. Clerks, Boogie Nights, etc etc etc containted way more "offensive" content and waddled along with an "R". Fucking wankers. Anyway, I loved Orgazmo LOTS...hehe. Matt's character cracked me up, with that same fucking look on his face the whole whole time...hehe. And I can't get over how funny that Japanese guy is in this AND Cannibal....that guy's amazing...poor G-Fresh and his scratched face...hehehehe.

I think it's the skin between the anus and scrotum (and I think I replied to that on the Crap site! hehe)

Aside from the scene where Choda Boy was beating up that guy with a dildo, I can't understand why it got the NC-17, either. Granted, I never saw Boogie Nights, but if it's the theme of porno they're squeamish about well, why indeed didn't BN get busted, too? Maybe if Trey had cast Burt Reynolds instead of Ron Jeremy as Jizzmaster Zero...

I loved the whole movie, absolutely loved it. The story was fantastic and the script was super-tight. Trey/Joe was perfectly endearing. One of my favorite scenes was his first appearance in the movie as Orgazmo, when he had to burst in on RJ and those two girls: the look on Trey's face was classic -- even with the mask on. And I loved when Orbison made him French kiss that girl and he just closed his eyes and stuck his tongue out. Damn. How could the MPAA hate him?! Did you catch Toddy Walters as Georgie? I'm dragging everyone I know to see this movie on Friday.

Dude, Boogie Nights had WAY more sex and nudity, full frontal nudity, too!!!....just as much language I'd say, and bloody violence. And it was all much more of a serious portrayal of the porn world. I would think that Orgazmo would score LESS on the offensive-o-meter merely on the basis that it's a spoof comedy about the porno industry!!!

Would you recommend us minors to sneak into it with a fake ID?
