It will be interesting to see the DVD of this last episode...

I noticed at least 1 cut, when Mr. Garrison shows the young children condom use.

BTW, I laughed out loud at least 5 times watching this-a record. I kept wondering, how far will they go with this?

How do youv know it was a real cut and not just the way it was intended to be?

It was an instant classic.

Anyway, who knows when we'll see more episodes on DVD. I think they realized the potential for syndication $ for a show with such a relatively large "cult" following and decided to not release the vids/DVDs so quickly.

What? Are they just putting out a DVD of each episode, or are they gonna release oen at the end of the season? And where will it be sold at? Wal-Mart here I don't think sells South Park stuff...

The language is pretty much just like it is in the aired episodes. I can't remember any differences. Some of the DVDs have intros w/ M&T, though. Here are the DVDs release so far, and I have heard of no concrete plans for more any time soon. Note that the Volume #s don't correspond to the ones for the same stuff released on VHS:

There is a cut to the children with the image on "freeze frame" for about 1/2 sec. It's hard to explain, the pix get steppy, like a digital frame store.

I like technical details. Anyway, you could be right. It also could be that M&T made a semi-sloppy edit that *they* wanted. Surely they deem some material to be unnecessary and the like during production of the show.

Remember the Beavis & Butt-head "Animation Sucks" ep? Where van Driessen is droning on and on and on about the wonders of animation, and all you see is a freeze frame of the two dolts?

That was the joke. Van Driessen going On and ON (off-camera) about the magic of animation, how animation can bring your ideas to life, how you can achieve wondrous effects with animation, and all you see is this still-frame!
