Finally saw BLU and...

I thought is was SWEEEEEEEET! :)

They played it as a part of this semester's on campus films line up. Unfortunately, the sound system for the auditorium sucks big time so there was a lot of distortion when the musical numbers had several people singing at once or really booming instrumentals. Pissed me off! I'm going to have to rent the video just to hear all the lyrics I missed.

But overall I LOVED it!.

And the ending with Kenny was simply wonderful. As funny as his deaths can be, sometimes I couldn't help feeling sorry for him. The ending made me really happy for the little guy!

It has got be one of the best comedy films for a hell of a long time! The songs were all brilliant, especially Mountain Town and what Would Brian Boitano Do?,I'm going to be humming Mountain Town for a few weeks now! It was brilliant finally see Kenny unmasked and then being taken up to heaven. Anyway, my question is, has it been show on Television anywhere yet? I live in the UK, and did manage to see it when it was on at that cinema. A friend copied the tape for me, which someone had given him. It has a Z in the corner of the screen, which occasionally moves around. the quality is much too good to it have been recorded in the Cinema and there is no audience noise. Does the DVD or the VHS have this z in the corner? I'm pretty sure he got it before the video and DVD came out in America so I don't think it could have been copied from these either? Anyone got any ideas? Geeno, suddenly the happiest person in Milton Keynes.

I haven't got a DVD Player. The copy I've got is good quailty anyway, only when everyone's singing on the songs at once does the sound quailty go down. I'm not going to buy a �200 DVD player just to watch the South Park movie, as I hardly ever buy movies. I'll probably buy it on VHS when it comes out over here.

Well, I'm sorry you didn't care for it. As a big fan of the movie, one of the things I found absolutely hilarious was, in fact, hearing the actual curse words instead of the bleeps.

As a matter of curiousity, what sort of things did you expect to see? I mean, the show does just about everything BUT actually use the curse words, so it was reasonable to assume that the movie would be peppered with the actual words.

I think for a lot of us, hearing the boys curse was more of a reward than anything else, having waited three seasons to hear a more "Jesus-vs.-Santa" type of animated movie complete with the cursing and all the political incorrectness.
