Since I'm writing up a storm as of late, here's a little ditty that's been in my head..am I the only one who was just *struck* by the ending of the movie? And yes, Alyssa, I already know about you..
I am Chaos. I am streaks of lightning empassioned with screaming as I turn back Hell's minions with my own Hell, my own fiery blaze. The fiery blaze I had to endure every day of my life in teasing and taunts and blinding confusion. I am Chaos. Fear me.
I am Longing. I am the desire of a world I cannot have, of a love I cannot recieve, of the ending of a pain that shall burn around and in me forever. There is to be no ending for me, none that is happy at least. But each bit helps, whatever it might be. And now I stand above the ground, upon the world I've always wanted. I stand before the love I could not have. I stand before the ending of a pain. And yet it is hard to pick it up and break it's body upon jagged rocks. I am Longing, without fufilment.
I am Sacrifice. I am pain and death and darkness in exchange for life and peace and hope. I am the wish that saved the world. I am the face revealed, the simple smile, the sweet, boyish features without regret. I am the wings of an angel, I am the horns of a devil. I am a parka of orange gold. I am Sacrifice. Goodbye, you guys. For now....
And so, my friends, here is the riddle:
Chaos weakened the foe. Longing had not the willpower, Sacrifice had not the strength.
Longing broke the chains that bound them all. It was a task for him alone.
Sacrifice made the wish. Chaos had not the nobility. Longing had not the ability.
So, grant me the answer to the twisted puzzle: Which among them saved the world?
