Hey I only now found out (shame on me) that europeans have ALL SP episodes on dvd ! and in a row! not like this stupid unlogic US releases of collections which doesnt make any sense and its not complete anyway.

There is no NTSC version....you'd need a PAL-NTSC converter and a code-free player. Or a cracked region-free program on your computer to watch it. It seems stupid to me too....but maybe in the end the US will get some nice boxsets special editions!

Well, I can't say I know how it works. Then again, I don't have to. I don't know how a DVD is made exactly either or what's going on between the laser and the disc. But, a PAL-NTSC converter allows you to view video made for European (except France, IIRC, which at least used to use SECAM) and other markets. The U.S. uses a standard called NTSC, as does Canada, Mexico, and S. America. There are DVD players (and I'm not referring to DVD-ROM computer drives) with the converter built-in. If you have a Region-free player, you can play another Region's discs, but unless you have a converter or compatible TV, such as a PAL TV, you won't be able to watch them, really. (Except for a computer, as you know.)
