As I was sitting today watching my daughter in a rehearsal of a christmas pageant, i was incredibly tempted to leap up and yell, in a high pitched voice, "Hail Satan!!!........Blood orgy!!!!!!!"

Not sure I can restrain myself and make it through the service tomorrow.

On 12/18/2004 6:00 PM Susan Cohen brightened our day with:

You know I've always been pretty sure that "step two" had something to do with Satan.

Wrong, it has to do with Satin. Come to believe that the comforts of the sheets will restore you to a good nights sleep.

I'm not sure how to take it out with this new Google interface. Its just terrible.

Susan

P.S. Your capslock key appears to be stuck.

hi again susan,

i'm just getting used to the the new google beta site also and i don't like it.

to remove alt.culture.alaska from your string of cross-posts.. just delete it when you make your next post, i.e. when you type in your next reply look in the "reply bar" at the top and you will see *all* of the groups you are cross-posting to..simply put your cursor next to alt.culture.alaska and delete it.

as to my caps key, i have nerve damage to my right arm and when i type for 10 minutes, my back goes into muscle spasms, which causes me a great deal of pain. this is somewhat reduced if i type everything in one case, rather then switiching from high then lower case.

because we had a regular poster on alt.culture.alaska who used all lower case, due to his laziness, i decided to use the caps to distinquish us. but now that he is gone, as well as most all of the other regular posters to a.c.a. due to the "intentional flooding" of aca's site by "flaming trolls" who cross-post for no reason other than harassment, i guess i can use the lower case now. it is much easier then the caps.

thanks in advance for taking alt.culture.alaska out of your posts and replies, it is appreciated. sylvia p.s. i hate these tiny little boxes that we have to use to make a post, don't you?

don't

I don't blame you. Its terrible isn't it? So confusing. I actually tried to reply to you lat night but I got a server error. So I'm trying again now. Let's hope it works this time.

your

of

OK, I'll try that next time.

type

Oh, I see. And the nerve of some people to abuse you! You know you can get special keyboards that could help you. Try searching the net.

than

Yes, its easier to read too.

I'm not sure what's causing it but I'll try.

post,

Yes, they aren't well designed are they. I also noticed that you were having problems replying elsewhere too. At least, I didn't see any added text - I think.

Susan

======================
hi again susan,

you know, i just did the same thing, i.e. cross-posted a letter to you and then realized it. so i came back to your reply and clicked on to the *reply* button at the bottom of your post and i got that *little reply box* again and there *isn't* the space where all of the groups are listed so you can remove them.

so, i went back up to the top of your message and clicked on the "show options" link and in it is *another reply* link. when you click on to it...wa la you get a *full screen* to type your reply into it, plus....you can see the message you are replying to and able to *edit the original post* also.

google should have given us *some instructions* on how to use this piece of crap in their "google groups link" on the left side of the screen.

since i didn't know which of the 5 or 6 groups you are in, due to all of them being in your cross-posts, i have to send this back to you with via all of these cross-posts, i.e. you can type in that "reply bar" about 6 groups in any order that you want them, so there is no way tell which one you are originating from, at least i don't know how to tell which one...again, google should have told us this.

i would use a regular newsreader but my isp is *free* but they won't allow us to use other newsreaders, we have to use google. although, i think they have added their own newsreader in the last month or so. guess it's time to try it because i hate google's set up too. sylvia &;D

you

Believe me, I'm *as* confused as you are.

"show

Yes, I discovered that by *accident* too. Its so silly that they have two reply buttons. Obviously designed by men.

I don't know why they changed it when it still says beta.

with

tell

I can only see 4 but never mind.

I wish my ISP's one were more reliable. I have to rely on Google for now.

Your brain is obviously locked on Susan and me. Don't forget to wipe your monitor after you blow your load, Radobitch.

what a crossposting tool...those are gnomes, and they pretty much only get tweek (unless you're in the mayor's office)

You too, huh?

Ever since I've gotten in a bad mood (dealing with co-workers and bosses), I've been having some pretty evil thoughts. And ever since I saw that "critter" episode, that one critter's proclamation has been ringing in my ear. Weird.
