Where did all those Jewish people come from in South Park?

I could have sworn about three or four seasons ago there was a remark about Kyle's family commenting to the fact of "You ARE the Jewish community!" ...So where did that congregation come from?

Jesus wasn't supposed to die in Iraq - Santa was. Jesus had already died 2000 years ago and risen again, only to wind up as a cable access channel host. When Jesus died instead, the rift altered time. Kenny and Saddam Hussein were both pulled back from the realm of the dead, though how long either can last until the icy hand of death comes looking is uncertain. Jesus' death has erased his entire TV career in South Park away from the memories of the South Park townspeople, giving them the vague sense that they must have been watching some wrestling match. Without Jesus boosting the ratings, the cable access channel collapsed years ago. The cable operators suddenly saw all the money they had made running a dodgy illegal drugs and infomercial channel. They used the money to build a new section to South Park, where the new Jewish popluation moved in. Time paradoxes strike - and strike hard.

B - It's true that Kyle and his little brother weren't the only persons at Jewbilee, but they never said if those other Jews were also from South Park.

It's a cartoon. It doesn't have to make sense. The online Simpsons fans should realize that also. They would be much happier.

Once they figure out once and for all what state springfield is in, they can then narrow down the neighborhood the simpsons live and finally get to meet them in person. Won't that be a joyous day! To finally meet homer and the gang!

No! Vinny's really correct. The simpsons live in springfield kentucky! Of course springfield kentucky has an ocean beach with offshore oil wells, a springfield gorge, springfield nuclear reactor. Not too far from there is where five states intersect. I was there last summer and was delighted to see homer and the gang.

You're thinking of that Behind the Laughter episode. In actuality Matt Groening grew up outside of Portland, oregon and a lot of the characters are named after streets there.
