The thing I don't understand is why they gave South Park bigger, longer, and uncut an R rating. It's not like we can't turn on the t.v. at all hours of the day and see some shit about murder on the news, or cop's beating the shit out of people for ratings. I mean why attack an innocent cartoon that no kids have yet modeled themselves after? All South Park is, is a representation of the way youths are actually living right now. I know plenty of 8 year olds who cuss, flip people off, and make fun of their teachers. Believe me they were doing it way before South Park ever aired. I know people may think that is is only adding to childrens behavior, but what else isn't? They show sexually explicite and foul language on prime time television anyways. So if they are going to try and hinder South Parks ratings just to try and get them off the air, they need to take a long look at whatever else is showing because i know of a lot worse things i wouldnt want kids to see. Fudge The R Rating
Dude, its pretty simple why South Park got an "R" rating. Hell movies that say "fuck" just once usually get slapped with a "R" rating, not mention films with tons of violence and not much language like "Terminator". I think any film that talks about the clitoris, telling each other they fuck their uncles, and two men having sex isn't worth a PG-13. I think South Park was awesome, but movies don't get away with "R" ratings that are way more mild then this flick was.

i only bring my wallet with me when i'm driving, and yesterday i wasn't driving. someone else needed the car, and without a photo id i had to have my mother buy my ticket! ugh, how embarrasing!

Here in Australia, the film got a MA rating - which means that only people 15 years or older should be allowed to get in.. but considering it's mainly just a recommendation, it effectively means that anyone can get in.
('R' rating is the only one that is enforced - and it means only people 18 or over can get in.. equivalent to the NC-17 rating in the U.S. Australia doesn't really have an equivalent to the U.S. 'R', and 'MA' is the next level down)
I took my 15 year old to see the film today. I felt like they over did the gay stuff and my son didn't think it was as funny as he thought it would be.
After reading this newsgroup, I at least know what felching is. Its kind of like when I found out what the "needle and the spoon" means. Yawn. Why do dopers and gays only think about one thing, their addiction? That is all they want to talk about. Yawn again.
Funny movie though. Ranks up there with Cheech and Chong.
