Hello there children,

can anybody tell a german sp addicted what a "douche" is? My dictionary tells me about... well... cleaning one's body at a certain point. But that doesn't make sense to me.

Douche is descended from a word meaning shower, but in English it refers to the process of cleaning a woman's vagina with water or cleansing solution. A special nozzle tip is usually used along with a bag or bottle. Calling someone a douche or douchebag is a derogatory insult.

And... erm... how am I going to ask... what does it mean? Is it something like dumbass? Are there any insults that may be on the same level as douche? When I watched the episode first, I thought it's something like a liar... guess that was wrong :-)

Hi Dennis, I think http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=douchebag has some good definitions, with fitting adjectives ranging from "stuck-up" to "pathetic".

in college, douchebag meant full of shit yes, it does mean "liar"

It's just a derogatory term for someone, it is used in the same type of applications as: asshole dumbass unclefucker fag jew
