On this 'Mary Kay Bergman' is dead thing..

Ok, I'm kinda freaking out right now. Every female voice on SP is now regarded as dead, and they say this on what I think is her official website (wackyvoices.com), so I just want to know what everyone thinks. Do you guys believe this? Any ideas as to what happened to her? Thoughts on what's going to happen to the show?

Well, they'll probably take a little time off... presumably they've done a few episodes for the new season already, so they don't have to worry about producing new material for a little while.

I'd imagine, after recovering from the loss (hopefully they will, anyway) they will have open auditions for the female voices on the show.

Since Matt and Trey are under contract, they are probably obligated to keep making episodes, regardless of the loss of their co-workers.

God, she was so young.

Pardon me if I screw up anything I'm trying to say. I'm out of it.

	As of right now, the answer is No, despite what her web page says. They
can be hacked, you know.  I've been doing searches and I have yet to
find *any* news on this at all.  Normally when a celeb (and she was
considered a celeb because of her voice work for Disney) dies, there's
at least one artical about it somewhere.  Until I see an offical
statement, I refuse to believe it.  Call me whatever you want, but I'm
not going to be burned twice.  I'm sure Everyone remembers the "Trey is
dead" posts earlier this year.  And I also remember all the sorrow
created by that tasteless and totally false post.
	I realize I'm gonna make a lot of enemies and lose a few friends with
this post,  but what I've written had to be posted.  Once bitten, twice
shy.  If I get any news on this from a trustworthy service, I'll post it
in the group.  I really hope this is a bad joke.
	However. If it turns out that she really is not with us anymore, then
I'm sure she's entertaining the Big Guy with her voices as I write this
and I, like the rest of all SP fans, will miss her.  She should be
credited with helping make SP what it is today, but sadly all we hear
about is Matt and Trey.

The show will always go on, its part of the business, but if this turns out to be true, our thoughts and prayers should be for her family and friends.

voice actor Rob Paulsen. Mary Kay Bergman died
Thursday night.
     Don't know how or why yet...
     It's still hard to believe it. :~(

Been gone for a few days, and when I signed on today, I had a letter from Comedy Central stating that she had died, kinda like an adendum to the newsletter. All, I really have to say is, she will definately be missed.

Can anyone actially get the *actual* word from Comedy Central or the studio itself to verify/debunk this? It seems the only immediate way to find out things for sure.

I've tried Comedy Central's page and it had nothing on it. If this happened, it would be there.

I heard about this on the Parker/Stone mailing list and I just couldn't believe it because this just came out of the blue and apparently the SPDigest doesn't know anything about this and South Park isn't going to be the same without her and Mary enjoyed doing the voices on the show and working with Matt & Trey and her favorite voices that she enjoyed doing was Lianne Cartman,Shelly and Shelia. *sigh* I'm very sadden by this :( she was a great voice actress and she will be missed.
