Who's your 'mentor'?(Fanfic writers reply only please.)

My 'mentor' is Alyssa.Her fics rule,wether POV, story, script, sort-of-fic, regardless of how her fics were done they ROCKED!!!!!!!! Unfortunatly, I'm now on top of her "Incredibly pissed off at list." and I'm guessing I also made it to her blocked senders list too. Damned involuntary muscle spasams!

I don't think I can really say I have a "mentor" when it comes to fics. Basically, I read a few and thought, "Not bad. But I can do better." So, I started writing. Now, I really can't fairly say that my fics are any better because I don't want any of my own biases to interfere. I leave that up to the readers. Anyway, since those really early fics I read, I've seen a whole slew of really talented writers spring up and most of them have had me laughing out loud at some point.

This first fic i ever read was by Jess. It was called "The Quickie". I was laughing so hard at it. I read mst of the fics at SnowCalico's page, which got me wondering if could write a fic. I wrote one called "The Fat Knight" and I've been writing ever since. Ok, I havent posted a new one since "For Love & Money", but I only write when i'm depressed and I haven't been depressed in a long long time.

ok, enough ramblings, my mentor is Jess, with kim in close second. She always makes me laugh. Some of the stuff she does in IM. i can't help but LOL @ her.

Everybody. Definitely everybody, 'fic writers and non-fic writers alike. Everything inspires me with new ideas. Everybody I know somehow contributes to my 'fics, in one way or another. Mostly, all my friends and family are great helps. I also get some ideas from people I don't like (two certain kids from my ex-school come to mind..grr..), as in something else to make fun of in my writing. :)
